Straight and simplified signal connections have always been of interest in audio engineering, understanding that every added peace within the chain corrupts the signal. SANER-ALWIS powered monitors allow the connection of balanced and unbalanced signals  and the easy enlargement towards an active surround system, bringing forward thinking to the point. 

Surround

For superb multi-channel handling the B226-speakers get their surround signal via the B446-Towers and XLR-5 connectors. This strategy allows long cable runs up to 30m with OFC multicore cables in studio quality. Easy installation is just another trick. The B226-speakers also have their own power supply for maximum flexibility.

Benefits of this design concept include active feedforward servo control, perfect matching amplifiers to the drive units, precise low level filter design and therefore overall harmonic precision. 
The “image” of an respective sound stage relies merely upon correct timing and phase behavior. The ballenberg series cabinets from SANER-ALWIS offer balanced and unbalanced analogue inputs ensuring precise timing also for long cable runs.
